Choctaw Nation Scholarship Opportunities for High School Seniors

  1. Chahta Foundation – January 15th – March 31st

    The Chahta Foundation is a competitive scholarship Foundation that offers over 40 types of scholarships. High School Seniors will want to apply in the spring of their senior year.

    • Eligibility: Scholarships vary; Choctaw students seeking a post-secondary education (college, university, or vocational) with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
      • Go to the scholarships page.
      • The Chahta Foundation uses a universal application, all scholarships listed on the scholarship page are included in one application.
      • Click on ‘Apply Now’ to begin application. This will take approximately 30 mins to 1 hour to complete.
    • The Chahta Foundation offers scholarship opportunities exclusive to High School students.

    The Higher Education Program may provide scholarship assistance to any member of the Choctaw Nation, nationwide.

    • Eligibility: Choctaw students seeking a post-secondary degree.

    The goal of the College Freshman Year Initiative (FYI) is to create a community among Choctaw students, their college campus, and our staff wherein freshman students are empowered to make informed decisions and develop academic and life skills to become confident, proactive, and accountable participants in their college education.scholarship@chahtafoundation.com:
