Riordan Heenan Memorial

The Riordan Heenan Memorial Scholarship was established in 2023 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation in memory of Judith Anne Anderson and the connection between our Choctaw and Irish ancestors – two ancient peoples bound. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma students with the hope that it will help tribal members reach their educational goals. The Riordan Heenan Memorial Scholarship is a $500 scholarship awarded at $250 per Fall and Spring semester while the recipient is attending an accredited vocational or technical institution. Full eligibility requirements can be found in the guidelines.
