Scholarship Guidelines for Raymond and Lucy Woods Scholarship

The Raymond and Lucy Woods Scholarship was established in 2024 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation by Seth and Kara Fairchild in loving memory of Raymond and Lucy Woods, whose quiet teachings and unwavering devotion to the true meaning of family have impacted countless lives. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma students who are graduating from Caddo High School in Oklahoma at the time of application. The Raymond and Lucy Woods Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship awarded at $500 per Fall and Spring semester while the recipient is attending an accredited vocational/technical, 2-year program, or 4-year program institution.
