Juanita Wilmouth Memorial Nursing
The Juanita Wilmouth Memorial Nursing Scholarship was established in 2012 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation in memory of Juanita Wilmouth, the mother of Gregory E. Pyle, Chief of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma 1997-2014. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma students who have been accepted into or are currently enrolled in the Murray State nursing program at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. The Juanita Wilmouth Memorial Nursing Scholarship is a $5,000 scholarship awarded at $2,500 per Fall and Spring semester while the recipient is pursuing a degree through the Murray at Southeastern Nursing Program. The scholarship will be paid directly to the accredited institution and covers qualified education expenses such as tuition, fees, and course-related expenses such as books, supplies, and equipment should the recipient meet the following requirements.
