Jack Austin Sr. Memorial

The Jack Austin Sr. Memorial Scholarship was established in 2023 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation in memory of Jack Austin Sr, a servant leader whose unwavering dedication and selfless service to his people and community will never be forgotten. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in a health care-related field. The Jack Austin Sr. Memorial Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship awarded at $500 per Fall and Spring semester while the recipient is attending a 2-year or 4-year program at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Eastern Oklahoma State College, or Carl Albert State College. Full eligibility requirements can be found in the guidelines.
