Incoming Freshman

The Incoming Freshman Scholarship was established in 2013 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma students who are graduating high school at the time of application. The Incoming Freshman Scholarship is a $2,000 scholarship awarded at $1,000 per Fall and Spring semester while the recipient is attending an accredited vocational/technical, 2-year program, or 4-year program institution. The scholarship will be paid directly to the accredited institution and covers qualified education expenses such as tuition, fees, and course-related expenses such as books, supplies, and equipment should the recipient meet the following requirements.
