Honoring Our Grandmothers

The Honoring Our Grandmothers (Hvpi Pokni E Holitoblichi) Scholarship was established in 2021 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation by Claudia Adams Hill, in memory and honor of our grandmothers. Preserver of family history, storyteller of ancestral ways. Grandmothers love us, inspire us, encourage us, never give up on us. They want us to be our best selves. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) students. The Honoring Our Grandmothers Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship awarded at $500 per Fall and Spring semester while the recipient is attending an accredited institution.
