Heritage – Medical*

The Heritage Scholarship was established in 2014 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation by the Choctaw Nation Health Services Division. Each year this scholarship is to be awarded to an annually determined number of Choctaw students who are attending or have been accepted into the doctorate medical program of their choice. The maximum value of the Heritage Scholarship is $40,000 to be awarded as up to $15,000 per fall/spring semester and up to $10,000 per summer semester for tuition, books, and school related fees for up to 15 semesters.

*The recipient will have a payback requirement equivalent to one year of service, employment at the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, per $20,000 received. Relocation may be required.
