Dr. Ryan Taylor Memorial

The Dr. Ryan Taylor Memorial Scholarship was established in 2024 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation in memory of Dr. Ryan Taylor who brilliantly merged modern medicine with his Chahta ancestry to create a legacy of healing and heritage. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma students who are accepted into or currently enrolled in an accredited medical school and pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD). The Dr. Ryan Taylor Memorial Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship renewable annually for up to four years. This scholarship is awarded at $5,000 per Fall and Spring semester for up to eight semesters. Full eligibility requirements can be found in the guidelines.
