Gary and Angie Batton Empowerment

The Batton Empowerment Scholarship was established in 2022 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation by Gary and Angie Batton. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma students who are accepted into or currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in the fields of accounting or information technology. The Gary and Angie Batton Empowerment Scholarship is a $5,000 scholarship awarded at $2,500 per Fall and Spring semester while the recipient is attending an accredited institution.
