Chahta Foundation Universal Application
The Batton Scholarship was established in 2021 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation by Gary and Angie Batton. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma students who are accepted into or currently attending Southeastern Oklahoma State University. The Gary and Angie Batton Legacy Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship awarded at $500 per Fall and Spring semester while the recipient is enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree plan at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
