The Phillip Ray Haddock Scholarship was established in 2018 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation in honor of Phillip Ray Haddock, who dedicated over 42 years to teaching students about vocational trades and architecture. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma students who are graduating high school within Bryan County, Oklahoma or Grayson County, Texas. The Phillip Ray Haddock Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship awarded at $500 per Fall and Spring semester while the recipient is attending an accredited vocational/ technical institution. The scholarship will be paid directly to the accredited institution and covers qualified education expenses such as tuition, fees, and course-related expenses such as books, supplies, and equipment should the recipient meet the following requirements.
