Choctaw Travel Plaza – Central

The Choctaw Travel Plaza – Central Scholarship was established in 2026 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation by the Choctaw Travel Plaza to strengthen the Chahta people through quality educational opportunities. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma students who are graduating high school from Districts 9, 10, 11, or 12 of the Choctaw Nation Reservation. Eligible Schools include Achille, Bennington, Calera, Colbert, Durant, Rock Creek, Silo, Atoka, Caddo, Caney, Coleman, Kiowa, Pittsburg, Stringtown, Tushka, Wapanucka, Haileyville, Hartshorne, McAlester, Savanna, Calvin, Canadian, Coalgate, Crowder, Indianola, Stuart, or Tupelo. The Choctaw Travel Plaza – Central Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship awarded at $500 per Fall and Spring semester while the recipient is attending an accredited institution. The scholarship will be paid directly to the accredited institution and covers qualified education expenses such as tuition, fees, and course-related expenses such as books, supplies, and equipment should the recipient meet the following requirements.
