Gary and Angie Batton Impact

The Gary and Angie Batton Impact Scholarship was established in 2026 and is the result of donations given to the
Chahta Foundation by Gary and Angie Batton. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of
Oklahoma students who are accepted into or currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor degree plan. The Gary and Angie Batton
Impact Scholarship is a $5,000 scholarship awarded at $2,500 per Fall and Spring semester while the recipient is attending
an accredited institution. The scholarship will be paid directly to the accredited institution and covers qualified education
expenses such as tuition, fees, and course-related expenses such as books, supplies, and equipment should the recipient
meet the following requirements.
