Taylor Family
The Taylor Family Scholarship was established in 2024 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation in honor of the Taylor Family. Earnest and Inez Taylor, both hard-working and intelligent individuals, made the difficult but necessary decision to halt their education to support their family. This scholarship is lovingly dedicated in their memory with the hope that others may receive the opportunity to achieve their educational goals. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma first-generation college students who have been accepted into or are currently enrolled in the associate degree program of their choice. The Taylor Family Scholarship is a $2,500 scholarship renewable annually for up to two years provided the recipient meets scholarship requirements. This scholarship is awarded at $1,250 per Fall and Spring semester while the recipient is attending an accredited 2-year program institution. Full eligibility requirements can be found in the guidelines.
