Dewey Kirkpatrick Service
The Dewey Kirkpatrick Service Scholarship was established in 2021 and is the result of donations given to the Chahta Foundation. This competitive scholarship is to be awarded to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma students who are graduating high school at the time of application. The Dewey Kirkpatrick Service Scholarship is a $3,000 scholarship awarded at $1,500 per Fall and Spring semester while the recipient is attending an accredited institution. The scholarship will be paid directly to the accredited institution and covers qualified education expenses such as tuition, fees, and course- related expenses such as books, supplies, and equipment should the recipient meet the following requirements.

Applicant requirements
- High School Senior
- GPA: 2.5
- Preference:
- 1st or 2nd Generation College Student
- Degree in data science and analytics
- Students displaying community service
